What NTA checks for NEET
The NEET bulletin asks for a passport-size photo with a white background, in which your face takes up about 80% of the picture with both ears visible and no mask. It gives the file size (10 KB to 200 KB) but no pixel size, so the tool uses 350 × 450 pixels, the shape of a passport photo. The oval guide is sized for an 80% face; zoom in until your face fills it.
NTA also takes a live photo during the application and compares it with your Aadhaar photo, so the uploaded picture should look like you today. The signature is a JPG of 10 KB to 100 KB. The finger and thumb impressions (10–200 KB each) can be sized with Reduce image size in KB.
How to use it
- Choose your form; its sizes appear and can be changed.
- Add a clear phone photo of your face and drag it into the oval.
- Optionally make the background white, or add your name and date.
- Press Make photo, check the ticks and download. Do the same for the signature.

What is the NEET photo size in KB?
Between 10 KB and 200 KB, JPG. NTA does not state a pixel size; 350 × 450 pixels works well.
Can the NEET photo be black and white?
Yes, NEET accepts colour or black and white. It must have a white background and show about 80% face with ears visible.
What if my background is not white?
Tick "Make the background plain white". The person is cut out on your device and placed on white.
Is my photo uploaded to Toololo?
