Just need the signature as an image?
Draw, type or photograph
Sign with a mouse or finger, type your name in a handwriting style, or photograph a signature on paper and the page is removed.
Request signatures
Place signature, date and name fields for each person, set the signing order, and send. Everyone signs from their own private link.
A record of every step
Confirmed email addresses, a signing record that shows any later change, an independent timestamp and a completion page with every signed document.
Private by design
Signing a document yourself happens entirely in your browser. A signature request stores the document privately and deletes it after signing.
Questions people ask
Is a signature added this way legally valid?
In the EU this is an electronic signature under eIDAS, and Article 25 says an electronic signature cannot be denied legal effect simply for being electronic. Toololo Sign is a free tool for everyday, low-stakes agreements between people who know each other, such as a freelance contract, a simple NDA or a consent form. Everyone should download and keep the signed PDF, because documents are deleted from our server shortly after signing. For employment contracts, property, loans, regulated documents or anything likely to be disputed, use an established signing provider. It is not a qualified electronic signature (QES) — that needs an identity check by a trust service provider. If a document must be notarised, or a law demands a specific form, use a qualified provider instead.
Can two people sign the same document?
Yes. Open the PDF and press Request signature — each person gets a private link, signs in their own browser, and you are emailed when they have. When the last person signs, a Certificate of Completion page is added with every step: when each person opened and signed it, and whether they confirmed a code sent to their email. You can also just sign, download, and send the file on; they open it here and add their own signature.
How can someone check a signed document wasn't changed afterwards?
Documents signed through a signature request get a SHA-256 fingerprint recorded on our server. Anyone can open Verify a signed PDF and choose the file: if a single byte has been altered, it will not match. The PDF itself is never uploaded for the check.
My contract is a Word file, not a PDF.
Save it as a PDF first — in Word that is File → Save As → PDF, which keeps the layout exactly. Then sign the PDF here.
Does signing change the rest of the document?
No. The original pages are carried over untouched and your signature is drawn on top, so the text, fonts and layout stay exactly as they were.
