About Rotate PDF
Fix a PDF with sideways or upside-down pages, which often happens with scans and phone photos. Turn every page at once, or pick out only the pages that need it.
The rotation is saved in the file itself, so the pages open the right way round in any PDF viewer. Content is not re-rendered, and nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Select or drop a PDF (up to 50 MB).
- Choose Rotate all pages, or Rotate individual pages.
- Pick 90° right, 180° or 90° left; the thumbnails show the result.
- Press Save Rotated PDF to download.
Good to know
- Turns are added to how the page shows now: a page that is already turned 90° and gets another 90° ends up upside down.
- PDF pages can only be turned in quarter turns. To straighten a slightly skewed scan, rescan it.
- Text, links and quality stay as they were; only the page orientation changes.
Questions
How do I rotate only one page?
Choose Rotate individual pages, then use the buttons under that page’s thumbnail.
Will rotating reduce quality?
No. The page is not redrawn; the file just records which way up it should be shown.
Does the rotation stay when I send the file?
Yes. It is saved in the PDF, so every viewer shows the pages the new way.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is changed in your browser.
