About Merge PDF Files
Put several PDFs together into one file: a contract and its appendices, scanned receipts for an expense claim, or chapters you received separately. Drag the files into the order you want and download a single PDF.
The pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-compressed. The merging happens in your browser; your files are not uploaded anywhere.
How to use it
- Select or drop two or more PDF files (up to 50 MB each).
- Drag the files into the order they should appear.
- Optionally type a name for the new file.
- Press Merge PDF and download the result.
Good to know
- Every page of every file is included. To leave pages out, merge first and then use Delete PDF pages.
- Bookmarks (the outline panel) from the original files are not carried over; links and text are.
- A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked before it can be merged.
- The result is often larger than you need for email. Compress PDF can shrink it afterwards.
Questions
Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?
Each file can be up to 50 MB. There is no fixed number of files; because the work happens on your device, very large batches depend on its memory.
Will merging lower the quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new file without being rendered or re-compressed, so they look exactly as before.
Can I change the order of the pages, not just the files?
This tool orders whole files. To move individual pages, merge first and open the result in Reorder PDF pages.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDFs are read and joined by JavaScript in this page, and the merged file is created on your device.
