Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 September 2026

These terms apply when you use toololo.com and its tools. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. What Toololo is

Toololo is a collection of free online tools: PDF, image and video tools, text utilities and calculators. They are free to use and need no account.

2. Your files

The tools run in your own browser. Files you open are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our server. Results depend on your browser, your device and the file itself, and very large or unusual files may fail.

The exceptions are Compress PDF with "Best compression", where the PDF is processed on our server and deleted straight away, and Toololo Sign, where the document is stored on our server so other people can sign it.

3. Acceptable use

You may use Toololo for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

4. No warranty

The tools are provided free of charge and "as is". We do not promise that any tool will be available, error-free, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Converting between file formats can lose formatting or detail. Always keep your original file, and check the result before you rely on it.

5. Calculators and information are not advice

The financial, tax and health calculators, and the guides on this site, are for general information only. They are not financial, tax, legal or medical advice and may not match the rules that apply to you. Check anything important with a qualified professional.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Toololo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, including lost or damaged files, lost profits, or decisions made from a tool's output.

7. Third-party services

Some pages load code, fonts or advertising from third parties. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it. The Privacy Policy explains which services are used.

8. Intellectual property

The Toololo name, the site's design and its content belong to Toololo. The tools use open-source libraries under their own licences. You keep all rights to the files you process.

9. Changes and availability

We may change, limit or remove any tool, and update these terms, at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Toololo Sign

These additional terms apply when you send or sign a document with Toololo Sign. The Privacy Policy explains what is stored and for how long.

What it is

Toololo Sign is a free tool for requesting and collecting electronic signatures, meant for everyday, low-stakes agreements. The signatures are simple electronic signatures under EU Regulation 910/2014 (eIDAS). They are not advanced or qualified electronic signatures, and Toololo does not check anyone's identity with a bank ID or official ID. The record of who signed is based on control of an email address, the name the signer types and their consent.

Some documents need a specific form or a qualified signature by law, for example property sales or wills. You are responsible for checking that electronic signing suits your document.

Your responsibilities when you send a request

You must confirm your email address before sending a request, and the number of requests per day is limited.

Reports

Every request email includes a link to report it. We may suspend reported requests, block senders and keep reports.

Keep your own copy

Documents are deleted from our server shortly after signing, so we cannot send you a copy later. Download and keep the signed PDF.

No guarantee

Toololo Sign is provided free of charge and "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be available, that emails will be delivered, or that a signature will lead to any particular outcome in a dispute.
