About Split PDF
Split a PDF when you only need part of it: one page of a bank statement, a chapter from a long report, or every page as its own file.
Choose Split all pages to get one PDF per page, or Extract specific pages and type the pages you want. The files are made in your browser and downloaded together as a ZIP.
How to use it
- Select or drop one PDF (up to 50 MB).
- Choose Split all pages, or Extract specific pages.
- For extracting, type page numbers and ranges, for example
1,3,5-8. - Press Split PDF and download the ZIP.
Good to know
- Each chosen page becomes its own PDF file inside the ZIP.
- Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text and images keep their original quality.
- To keep several pages together as one file, delete the others instead with Delete PDF pages.
- Encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked before they can be split.
Questions
How do I extract just a few pages?
Choose Extract specific pages and type them, separated by commas. Ranges work too: 2-5 means pages 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Why do I get a ZIP file?
Splitting usually creates several PDFs, and a ZIP lets you download them all at once. Every computer and phone can open it.
Does splitting change the quality?
No. Each page is copied as it is into the new file.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is split by JavaScript in this page and never leaves your device.
