QR Code Generator

Make a QR code for a link, a WiFi network, an email or plain text. Download PNG or SVG.

No sign-up, no tracking redirect, and the code never expires
Include https:// so phones open it as a link.
The password is only encoded into the image on your device - it is never sent anywhere.
Use the international format so it works from any country.
The ID that receives the money, such as yourname@okaxis or 9876543210@ybl.
Works with any UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and bank apps). Leave the amount empty for a code customers can reuse.

The preview shows the first code.
The ZIP could not be made. Check your connection and try again.

Free QR codes that keep working

Plenty of QR generators are free to make but not free to keep. They point the code at their own domain first, then forward it to yours — which means the code stops working the day they change their pricing, shut down, or decide your scan volume needs a subscription. People have had printed menus and packaging die that way.

These codes encode your content directly. There is no redirect through Toololo, nothing to track, and nothing anyone can switch off later. Download the file and it will still scan in ten years. Everything is generated in your browser, so whatever you type — including a WiFi password — never reaches a server.

What you can encode

  • Link — a website, a Google review page, a menu, a form
  • Text — a note, a serial number, an address, a discount code
  • WiFi — guests join your network by pointing a camera at it, no password read aloud
  • Email — opens a new message with the address, subject and body pre-filled
  • Phone — one tap to call
  • SMS — opens a text message ready to send
  • UPI payment — customers scan with any UPI app and pay you, with or without a fixed amount (UPI QR code generator)
  • Bulk — hundreds of codes at once from a list, downloaded as a ZIP (bulk QR code generator)

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

Never. Your content is inside the code itself rather than behind a short link on our server, so there is nothing that can lapse.

Can I use them commercially?

Yes — on menus, packaging, business cards, posters, invoices, anything. No licence, no attribution, no limit.

PNG or SVG?

PNG for screens and everyday documents. SVG for print: it is vector, so it stays razor sharp whether it ends up on a business card or the side of a van.

What does error correction do?

It adds redundancy so the code still scans when part of it is scratched, smudged or covered. Higher correction means a denser, busier code. Medium is right for almost everything; choose High if the code will live somewhere rough, like a warehouse label.

Why has my code stopped scanning after I changed the colours?

Scanners need contrast between the code and its background, and they expect the code to be the darker of the two. A dark code on a light background is safe; light-on-dark or two similar tones will often fail.

How big should I print it?

A rough rule is that the code should be at least a tenth of the scanning distance — about 2 cm for a code read at arm's length, and much larger for a shop window or a poster read from across a room. Leave the light border around it intact; scanners rely on it.
