What NTA checks for JEE Main
JEE Main asks for a colour photo on a white background, with your face taking up about 80% of the picture and both ears visible. Unlike NEET, black-and-white photos are not accepted. The bulletin gives the file size (10–200 KB) but not a pixel size; the tool uses 350 × 450 pixels.
A live photo is also taken during the application. Keep the same appearance in both, and use good front light so the face is evenly lit. The signature is a JPG of 10 KB to 100 KB, made from a photo of your signature on white paper.
How to use it
- Choose your form; its sizes appear and can be changed.
- Add a clear phone photo of your face and drag it into the oval.
- Optionally make the background white, or add your name and date.
- Press Make photo, check the ticks and download. Do the same for the signature.
