About PDF to PowerPoint
Turn a PDF into a PowerPoint deck when you need to present it, add notes or mix its pages into another presentation. Each PDF page becomes one slide, placed as a sharp image so it looks exactly like the original.
Choose the slide shape (16:9 widescreen or 4:3), the image quality and which pages to include. You can also add the page text below each image so it can be copied or searched.
How to use it
- Select or drop one or more PDFs (up to 25 MB each).
- Pick the pages, slide size and image quality.
- Optionally include the page text or a watermark.
- Press Convert and download the PPTX.
Good to know
- Slides show each page as a picture, so the original text is not editable in place. Add your own text boxes on top in PowerPoint.
- The PPTX opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides and LibreOffice Impress.
- Higher image quality makes a larger file; Medium is enough for a screen.
- Use Export as PNG if you only need the pages as images.
Questions
Can I edit the text on the slides?
Not the text inside the page image. If you tick Include extracted text, the words of each page are added as a normal text box you can edit or copy.
Which slide size should I choose?
Widescreen 16:9 for modern screens and projectors. 4:3 suits portrait-style documents and older projectors.
Why PPTX and not PPT?
PPTX is the format PowerPoint has used since 2007 and every presentation app reads it. The older PPT format is not produced.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Pages are rendered and the deck is built in your browser.
