About JPG to PDF under 200 KB
Application and upload forms often want your documents as one PDF below a size limit, such as 200 KB. Photos from a phone are several megabytes each, so a normal conversion is far too big.
This converter puts your photos into one PDF and, only if it comes out above the limit, re-saves the photos a little smaller until it fits, keeping them as sharp as the limit allows. 200 KB is set; type any other number your form asks for. Your photos stay on your device.
How to use it
- Select or drop your JPG or PNG images.
- Drag them into order, or sort A–Z by file name.
- Check the Maximum PDF size (200 KB is set) and the page size.
- Press Convert to PDF and download the file.
Good to know
- The limit counts 1 KB as 1000 bytes, so the file is accepted by forms that count either way.
- Fewer pages fit more detail into the same size. If text in the photos is hard to read, use fewer photos per PDF.
- Photos of documents taken in good light, straight from above, stay readable at much smaller sizes.
- For a PDF you already have, use Reduce PDF size in KB.
Questions
How do I convert JPG to PDF under 200 KB?
Add your photos, keep 200 in Maximum PDF size and press Convert to PDF. The PDF you download is under 200 KB.
Can I choose a different size, like 100 KB or 500 KB?
Yes. Type the number your form asks for in Maximum PDF size, in KB.
What if it cannot get small enough?
With many photos a very small limit may not be reachable while staying readable. You then get the smallest version and a note; use fewer photos, or split them into several PDFs.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is created and made smaller in your browser.
